Drop-in Sessions

The Finance team will be holding Spring drop-in hours from January 23, 2018 to May 15, 2018, where you will receive answers to your specific questions. At the Drop-in sessions, you will be able to log into the system and receive personalized assistance in processing your transaction. Please click here to see a schedule of drop-in hours. There is no need to sign up for a drop-in session, just go to S-150 during the date and time noted on the schedule.

  1. Create supplier invoice with a purchase order (request payment for an invoice that is associated with a purchase order)- for Goodsfor Services 
  2. Create supplier invoice without a purchase order (request payment for an invoice that is not associated with a purchase order)
  3. Create spend authorizations (pre-approval of travel as needed in accordance with the policy in your department)
  4. Create an expense report (request reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses or to record accounting on Simmons credit card transactions)

  • Spring 2018 Drop-in sessions are scheduled from the week of January 23rd through May 15th
    • There will be two 1-hour sessions each week. Each session will include a member of each team, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and Budget.
    • Please refer to the link in the Drop-in section of this document
    • A room with multiple computers has been reserved (S-150) to provide participants the opportunity for addressing actual issues or other specific questions which can be addressed in real time.
  • We recommend that people review the Workday Financials Overview document before attending any drop-in sessions.
